When beginning any course of treatment for a chronic yet manageable disease such as HIV and AIDS it is important for one to follow their HIV specialists advice, maintain a regular schedule of appointments, and strictly adhere to the pharmaceutical treatment regimen. These three practices establish early on a life-time of disciplines that one will require to effectively manage living with the HIV/AIDS virus. If ever there was doubt as to the importance of regular visits with one’s HIV/AIDS health care practitioner, those doubts can now be put to bed. A study has recently surfaced which has identified a causal link between missed doctors’ visits, and an increased mortality rate.

This analysis focused retrospectively within a group of HIV clinical patients who had established their initial outpatient treatment for HIV infection at the University of Alabama HIV/AIDS Clinic. All of the 543 study participants were evaluated between 2000 through to 2005. Patients who missed visits within the first year after initiating outpatient treatment were shown to have twice the rate of long-term mortality when compared with those patients who maintained regular visits, and attended all of their regularly scheduled appointments.

The results of the analysis showed that among those 543 HIV patients participating in the study, 60% of them missed a visit within the first year. The mortality rate in those patients who missed visits within the first year was 2.3 deaths per 100 person years. In contrast, the mortality rate for those who attended all scheduled visits and appointments with their HIV/AIDS practitioner was 1 death per 100 person years. Other factors such as age, overall health, and CD4 counts were all taken into account when comparing the risk factors and determining the overall mortality rate.

One thing is clear when reading the results of the study, and that is that mortality rates increase when skipping or missing regularly scheduled appointments. However, it is worthwhile to note the study’s authors posit that the nearly doubling rate of mortality is not a direct consequence of missing those appointments, but rather, are identifiers of those HIV patients who are more likely to exhibit behaviors which can lead to increased mortality earlier in life.

One of the more devastating moments in a person’s life is finding out that a spouse or partner has been diagnosed with HIV. In the end, such a diagnosis results in a whole host of considerations and concerns. Towards the top of the list is the issue of what can be done in order to be intimate and sexual with a spouse or partner that has been diagnosed with HIV. At the foundation of any sexual connection with a spouse or partner that is afflicted with HIV should be the proper use of condoms. In the end, condoms provide you with the best line of defense when it comes to preventing the transmission of HIV from partner to partner. With this in mind, there are some facts and factors that you need to keep in mind when it comes to using condoms to prevent the transmission of AIDS.

First, you need to make sure that you need use condoms consistently. You cannot use them occasionally or only for some types of sexual activity and not others. The bottom line is that you need to use condoms each and every time you have any type of sexual conduct or engage in any sort of sexual activity with an infected partner. Second, in addition to consistency, you need to make sure that you use condoms correctly. In this regard, you need to follow the directions made available to you with each condom package for putting on, using and then taking off a condom. The failure to follow these directions is the most significant reason why condoms fail to work correctly. Third, you absolutely must make certain that you use only those condoms that have not reached their expiration date. Condoms do not last forever and should never be used when they have reached their expiration date. Fourth, you need to make certain that you store condoms correctly as well. Once again, you will want to follow the directions that are set forth on the condom package when it comes to the storage of these products. Finally, if you have a partner that is infected with HIV, it is important that you obtain testing yourself to determine your own HIV status with regularity. While you can take all of the necessary safe sex steps to work to prevent the spread of HIV, nothing is 100% effective in this regard. Therefore, it is important for you to have an HIV test from time to time. Most medical experts recommend obtaining such a test every six months. By being tested regularly, you will be in the best possible position to proactively deal with an HIV infection should you ever face such a condition of your own.

Now AIDS is curable!!!

Now AIDS is completely curable. Though it is unbelievable it is true. Siddha medical system is one of the familiar ancient medical systems of India challenging to cure the terrible disease AIDS. Based on the Siddha medical system so many traditional medical practitioners of Tamilnadu, India were being tried to identify the suitable potential drug to cure AIDS.

But Dr. S.K. Balasubramaniam, Traditional Siddha Medical Practitioner in Erode, Tamilnadu, India was invented a drug namely VAIROLINN which is extracted from some rare herbals. It is highly potential to cure AIDS 100% without any residue. Vairolinn has already passed various studies such 1) Animal Study 2) Pathological study 3) Cell to cell Study etc., which resulted that the Herbal Medicine “Vairolinn” has no side effect and no toxic substances found included Steroids.

From the beginning about 120 HIV affected patients were being treated with our drug Vairolinn. Most of the patients were completely recovered from this terrible disease within Six months of treatment Period. Only few of them need up to nine months of treatment to recover completely depending upon their HIV Viral Load.

For example, one patient namely Mr. V. Sunderajan, Age 32 (in 1999) Male having HIV Viral load initially about 2, 70,000 copies/ml has taken our Herbal medicine Vairolinn regularly. After 70 days of treatment his viral load decreased into 1, 05,000 copies/ml (as 03.08.1999, 61.11% improvement) and subsequently decreased in to 506 copies/ml (99.81% Improvement) after 160 days of treatment and continued our treatment up to 200 days. The patient is still alive in good Health Condition. After the completion of Eight year Mr. V. Sunderajan was subjected to follow up analysis, an unbelievable and ever achieved result as “HIV Viral load could not be ascertained” obtained. It simply conformed that our Herbal Medicine is completely cure the HIV/AIDS without any residue.

Though it is a great achievement, we could not able to market the said medicine directly due lack of financial background. Therefore we decide to sell the product with complete technical details or to market the medicine with the collaboration of others who have sufficient marketing potential.

HIV/AIDS: COMPLEMENTARY MANAGEMENT VIA IMMUNE-ENHANCEMENT

Latest technology complementary and supportive products are achieving remarkable results.

A leading firm of clinical consultants who have been contracting to Medical Aid Funds to manage approximately 6 500 persons living with HIV/AIDS on an ongoing basis for many years, reports as follows:

“We are contracted to render HIV disease management services to numerous patients of several medical schemes. We have been using Phytogard as an immune booster for the past 4 years with exceptional results. Some patients are currently controlled on Phytogard alone and maintain or improve their CD4 counts while reducing Viral Loads. Five of our contracted medical schemes are funding the inclusion of Phytogard in our disease management protocols.” The success of Phytogard is mainly due to Foodstate*tm technology. For the first time in history specialised vitamin and mineral combinations are presented to the body as food. Utility is improved by up to 15 times compared to chelated chemical isolates and inorganics.

The unique, synergistic and cost-efficient combination of ingredients in Phytogard has been developed in collaboration with leading laboratories from all over the world. They consist of vitamins A and B12, Selenium and Zinc, all in Foodstate*tm form, n-Acetyl Cysteine, Betasitosterols and Alpha Lipoic Acid.

These products can add significant value to complementary health services worldwide.

HIV/AIDS continues to dramatically affect people all over the world despite preventive measures such as educational awareness and testing programs and treatment initiatives such as drug research and development. Even in the United States, where government funding, medical technology, and education would seemingly defeat this disease, the epidemic continues. According to the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) over 1,000,000 people are living HIV/AIDS in this country and approximately 40,000 new cases are reported each year. Although high, this is a significant drop from the new annual cases reported during 1980′s, which approached 150,000.
The statistics from the CDC are an important resource for tracking changes and measuring the impact of efforts, whether focused on treatment or prevention. An overview of recent data reveals important trends. First, prevention awareness and educational programs that aim to inform and promote less risky behavior are reducing the number of new cases within the United States.
Second, despite the efforts of these programs people are continuing to transmit HIV/AIDS. This is largely due to risky behavior revolving around drug use and unprotected sex, but continued lack of HIV/AIDS testing is also to blame. It is estimated that close to thirty percent of people infected with HIV are asymptomatic and do not know it. Routine testing remains major priority, and as such, officials have tried to institute these blood tests as a routine clinical procedure.
Third, while the number of new active cases has decreased, the number of people living with HIV/AIDS has increased. This illustrates the improvements of drug therapy. Successful drug regimes help contain HIV so that it does not become AIDS and help the body fight off opportunistic infections – infections or diseases that can capitalize on a weakened immune system of an HIV/AIDS patient, but not in a healthy person – which are normally the ultimate cause of death.
Thanks to these efforts and more, today’s picture is brighter than the past. People with HIV/AIDS are now living longer and healthier lives, but they still face serious health problems. These complications include aversion to medicine, afflictions stemming from a weakened immune system, and adverse effects of the infection itself. Because of these on-going vulnerabilities, in 2004 HIV/AIDS was reclassified from an infectious disease to a chronic disease. As such, the treatment strategy, adopted from the Guide to Primary Care for People with HIV/AIDS, stresses a comprehensive long-term model that involves clinical attention, proactive community groups, and self-management.
Within this model, the contributions of community groups provide HIV/AIDS patients with resources and support to improve their lives. Services and direct care programs help patients with financial matters, housing, nutritional needs, counseling, support groups, and transportation. Given that the national budgets are invested in large-scale educational programs and research, individual impact is felt most strongly when contributions go to organizations that provide services directly to individuals in need.
